Concert/Rehearsal Schedule

On Monday, January 12, Tuesday January 13, and Thursday January 15, the members of the 5-6 grade advanced band will have band from 2:00pm to 2:35pm in lieu of their ≥normal≈ band times. This will allow then to rehearse with the 7-8 band in preparation for the concert.  We will revert to a "normal" schedule the week of 1/19.

Here is the schedule for the day of the concert, Thursday, 1/15:

3:30pm-4:15pm - All band members will have a brief dress rehearsal in the West Wing MPR. The rehearsal will end at 4:15, and your student will be available for pick-up immediately afterward. (This is the time they will leave school if they walk or ride a bicycle.)

6:15pm -All students report to the band room for roll and warm-up.

7:00pm - Concert begins in MPR

7:30pm - Concert ends - all students will help return equipment to the band room and will be free to leave with parents after being signed out. The sign out sheet will be on the table at the front of the band room.

Dress for the band members will be concert black and white (or as close to that as possible.) No t-shirts pleaseÓdress shirts or polo shirts are appropriate for boys. No tennis shoes, if possible.

Please feel free to take pictures during the concert, with consideration for the other members of the audience. You may move to the front of the audience in order to get a picture of your student, but please stay out of the audiences≠ view by remaining on the outside of the seating.
